We had the privilege of working on an exciting new build house where we were asked to craft a wraparound deck to enhance the outdoor space. We used a striking combination of stone grey woodgrain decking complemented by a sharp charcoal bullnose.
But that's not all! The customer's electrician lent a hand in adding the perfect finishing touch - low watt pencil lights that truly brought the entire look together. The result? A stunning outdoor makeover that perfectly balances comfort and style!
The old driveway, which had clearly seen better days, was uneven and moss-covered with cracked, weathered tarmac. It has now been completely transformed, featuring a fresh, smooth surface bordered by vibrant red edgers that perfectly complement the surrounding lush greenery. This upgrade has turned the neglected driveway into a visually striking and inviting entrance, beautifully enhancing the overall outdoor space.
The aluminium balustrade installation was a key part of a full-scale OMG project that transformed the property’s exterior. The sleek, modern balustrades, featuring slim posts, were designed to complement the home’s updated aesthetic. This installation was integrated into a broader exterior makeover, which included modern landscaping around the property. The result was a stylish, cohesive design that enhanced the property’s curb appeal, functionality, and connection! The transformation gave the home a sophisticated, modernized appearance that was both visually striking and practical.
The OMG team has transformed the driveway, which was previously an aged, tired-looking tarmac surface, by installing a stunning resin finish that rejuvenates the entire look of the property. What was once worn and dull is now a sleek, modern feature that adds style, durability, and serious curb appeal.
The worn-out timber deck was gently dismantled to make way for a fresh upgrade. Beautiful composite decking boards with a natural woodgrain finish were seamlessly installed, creating a smooth, elegant surface. The result is a durable, low-maintenance deck that revitalizes the outdoor space with a fresh, modern look.
Sue had a tired, rotten timber deck. She wanted something more durable but wanted to keep the same aesthetics. We used coffee composite decking and balustrade to match the existing colours and providing a long lasting structure that won't rot!
This garden makeover involved a lot more than meets the eye…
Decking:
We adjusted the existing sleepers, prepped the ground, added a weed-suppressing blanket and built a brand-new timber sub-frame.
Woodgrain effect Composite boards in Stone Grey were installed with T-Clips for natural movement, finished with bullnose edging, cladding, and secure balustrades.
Paving:
The old lawn and paving were fully excavated, a new hardcore sub-base was compacted, drainage added where needed, and Grey Sandstone paving laid in the agreed pattern.
Turf:
Fresh topsoil was spread and new turf laid, with granite chippings added around the edges for a crisp, clean finish.
The amazing installation of a low hit-and-miss fence by the OMG team replaced an old, unsightly wire fence with a sturdy, aesthetically pleasing structure. The fence features alternating wooden slats, arranged in a visually striking pattern that provides a balance of privacy and light. With evenly spaced posts and secure horizontal rails, the fence is both durable and stable. The low design enhances the area with a charming, modern touch while offering a practical solution to privacy and security giving the space the OMG factor.
The Matthews family had recently purchased their first family home and were dismayed at the state the garden was left in by the developers. They wanted a modern garden that was easy to maintain and created space for them and their children to enjoy. We installed a Stone Grey composite decking space outside their patio doors and laid the remaining space in artificial grass. With the off cuts of framework and decking, we also added a bin and recycling storage area to keep things safe from their nosey Labrador.
Jenny was fed up of the puddling on the front and side of her house. We removed the old concrete, extended the driveway area and installed a fully permeable resin bound system.
