Picket Fence Before & Afters

Front garden transformation completed!

We removed the old tile edging, widened the side path, installed new sleeper edging, and finished the space with classic picket fencing and a matching gate. The result is a smarter layout, improved access and a clean, structured finish that really enhances the kerb appeal.

This Launceston front garden was given a more welcoming feel with new wooden picket fencing, a matching gate and timber sleeper edging. The garden was reshaped to create more space alongside the path, with wooden sleepers installed to neatly frame the lawn and surrounding areas. Traditional picket fencing was then fitted along the driveway and garden boundary, complete with a matching pedestrian gate. The combination of natural timber and classic picket detailing creates a charming, well-defined entrance while keeping the front garden feeling light and open.

The outdoor play area at this Barnstaple nursery was given a fresh new boundary with traditional wooden picket fencing. The existing fencing was removed before new timber posts and rails were installed, followed by individual pickets to create a boundary approximately 1.2 metres high. The fencing was continued around the rear of the sheds as far as access allowed.
The open picket design creates a welcoming, clearly defined play area while keeping the space feeling bright and open for the children to enjoy.
